Former advisor of the Federation of Commerce of the State of São Paulo (FECOMERCIO), organizer and Director of the Economic Department of the “First National City Bank of New York” for Brazil, member of the State Committee of Economic and Financial Policy, Economic Policy Advisor of the Secretariat of Finance of the State of São Paulo, Director of the São Paulo State Development Bank, Coordinator of the Development Banks Program of the Inter-American Development Bank, member of the Board of Directors of Banco Mercantil de São Paulo S.A., Founding Member of the Brazilian Institute of Economic Law. Honorary Member of the Wilshire Bar Association (Los Angeles).
Member of the Body of Arbiters of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, which he presided for four years, and of the Arbitrations Centers of the American Chamber of Commerce for Brazil (AMCHAM), Eurocamara and Center of Industries of the State of São Paulo (CIESP). Vice-President of the Brazil-Germany Legal Studies Society (Sejubra).
